Welcome to the Guilder Blog!
The Wire is a publication of the Guilder Institute, an independent service organization based in the College of Business Administration in UP Diliman. We are committed to using management for advancing human development through providing empowering information, discerning advocacy and ingenious initiatives.
In a time when information moves exponentially, the publication seeks to keep our audiences aware and informed through releasing breaking content not only from the college or the Philippines but also from around the world. It has five components: Guilder Wire and Wire Plus (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Guilder_Wire); Wire Portal (guilderwire.multiply.com); Mobile Wire; and the Guilder Blog (guilderwire.livejournal.com).
The Guilder Blog is committed to the free expression of ideas. It is a stage for critical opinion, different views and unconventional thinking. Alongside Guilder personnel's editorials, commentaries, and reviews are opinion pieces, columns and position papers that fall outside the planned content done by the organization. Based in Livejournal, the Blog is a plea for tolerance and a venue for constructive debate.
Entries and other content, aside from sanctioned statements, do not reflect the views of the organization.
